KS2 Dance Club had a great day out in Halifax!

KS2 dance club performed their competition dance to a packed audience at the Victoria Theatre, Halifax. With only one opportunity to rehearse on the stage it took some bravery to get up and perform under the spotlights. We were thrilled to be placed 7th overall and really enjoyed watching the dances performed by our competitors.

During the midday break we were able to explore the shops in the Piece Hall - we spent a long time in the bookshop! We also enjoyed exploring the Sculpture ‘People Play’ by artist Alice Irwin. Visitors are encouraged to investigate the site-specific installation, which Irwin hopes will inspire a love of play - it certainly inspired us!
