Super sewing!

Amazon have done a great job of sewing the pieces for our ‘Freedom Quilt’.
We worked in pairs to create our pattern piece. The patterns were based on designs seen in Freedom Quilts which were used to guide escaped African-American slaves to freedom.
We had to pin our pieces on carefully, checking that our design was correct. We then used running stitch to sew the pieces together.
Some of us used binca and running stitch to create our designs. We did a really good job!
