In Amazon, not only have we been practicing our singing for Young Voices, but also for our debating competition. Below is the video for Moana Mashup. We have been rehearsing singing the lyrics in harmony paying attention to pitch, tempo, dynamics and melody. For homework we will be carrying out a text analysis and annotation to understand the true meaning of the lyrics and how they relate to the story,
Year 5 had a fabulous time learning about the ballet 'The Nutcracker'. We learned about different types of music, different ballet moves and how strong you have to be to be a dancer.
